Driving our son from Maine to Los Angeles for a graduate program at USC, and leaving our car for him, I knew that I had to secure a nearby facility for potential auto service, one that I felt comfortable with. After an internet search, I settled on University; and after meeting and talking with John, I was very happy I did so. Although the car didn't have any issues, a problem was found that I was actually aware of--I was pleased that the mechanic spotted it. I'm comfortable knowing that if my son does need any work done on our vehicle, University will be the place to go. A pleasure chatting with you, John!

Great place for oil changes. Quick and reasonably priced. Never spent over an hour waiting without an appt. Just recently had my radiator and heater core fixed. 400 miles and three weeks later my car is running efficiently. Steve, the technician, was a great help and recommended what was needed. John, the owner, is customer friendly. A few days after, a lady named Mercedez followed up with a phone call to ensure everything was in good order.

I go here to take work vehicles and personal vehicles here when I need to have maintenance done. For this review, I'll talk about my personal car. My first experience is taking my car for an alignment. Turned out great. Next one was to get new tires for a newer car. Kept their price quote and had the work done. Third experience was for a simple oil change. Again, considering it was a full synthetic change (which all shops charge more for) with Mobil 1 it wasn't a bad price. I don't know if I'd go here for any sort of "emergency" work but I wouldn't take it anywhere for heavy duty stuff except for my pops (who's been a mechanic for over 30 years and is master certified with GM) but anything for tires, oil, or other things that are relatively simple but you can't do on your own then I would definitely keep taking my car here. The crew is great. To the other reviews that were unsatisfied with having to leave their cars...keep in mind that in order to diagnose a problem that they have to recreate it. Some chains will keep a diagnosis free...if you allow them to do repairs afterwards but you'd have to pay for it afterwards. I have never felt like they're shady. I will keep taking my car as long as I can drop it off and walk to work nearby. Thanks guys!

I can't say enough kind things about this business! John is very cordial and has always been a pleasure to work with. He considered my financial situation and been so helpful in working out a price that is affordable. I have gotten my oil changed here and because my first experience was so nice I came back to get my brake pads changed. I recommend this business to anyone wanting to get their brake pad inspections, it is free! Wonderful service! Thank you John for always providing outstanding customer service I will be back again! :)

Changed my tire here, they work very efficiently, only took half an hour. Price is reasonable.

It's a good place, take me 2 hours for inspection and mechanic check of an used car from the seller. Charge 65$ for everything. They have a customer rest area but they are not providing coffee or water. There is a vendor machine and you need to buy the drinking.

I needed to get my AC fixed in my car since I bought it almost a year ago. I was told by my previous owner that the AC works and just needed a recharge. I took my car to some shop down on Central and Washington and they recharged my AC and I left with some cold air for a few days until it blows back to warm air. I even recharged the freon myself a few weeks later and somehow it still blows back to normal fan air. My diagnosis concludes that I have a leak and I thought to myself "What do I have to lose?" when coming here since this place is a mile and a half away from home. I took my care here to this shop and said, "hey, we're gonna work on it and see if we can find that leak and seal it in". Then by noon, I stopped by to see how's my car doing and I was approached by John that they found the leak but the low port hose component had to be replaced because it was ripped so big, I ended up getting a new component.....although I was charged extra for parts and labor. But hey, somethings gotta give because it's summertime and I was eager to get cold air in my car to complete my cooling interior. Overall, as of today, there's no signs of cold air going back to warm air. I'm glad that problem is over and I give thanks to the technicians who did the job!

Needed work done on my car before a long road trip. Discovered my tires were In bad shape. Got a great deal on two tires, alignment, and oil change. Staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. I'll definitely return for service.
