University Tire&Auto was great. They helped me to get my car on the road after breaking down and dealing with a horrible tow service. They let me keep my car at their lot until I was able to pick it up (something that is hard to find in LA). And they clearly communicated to me what needed to be done so that I could understand and get going. Dina was awesome; definitely going back there for future maintenance.

Came in got my car panel fixed and got a light bulged changed. Out within an hour. Kudos to John for a swiftly and speedy service. Ladies if you're afraid of shop who take advantage of women and all that craziness I can assure you they did a great job with my car-child

Fast, friendly, and efficient. I noticed a slow leak in my front-tire last week and stopped in on Friday afternoon to have it fixed. Within 30 minutes the leak had been fixed and tires reinflated to factory specs. Very impressive!

Excellent service! I've been coming to University Tire off/on for at least 10 years; recently, we started going to another mechanic who is closer to home. University Tire is not only convenient in regards to their proximity to my work, but their work has been exceptional! Whenever I go to them, they have been very thorough with explaining the work they need to get done (regarding the concern I brought to their attention), and don't try to up-sell me on additional stuff. Anyhow, 2 weeks ago, my husband took the car to the other mechanic that's closer to home. They replaced the car's original struts and called it a day. Then we noticed something just wasn't right with the car. I stopped at University Tire before going to work last week and spoke to John about a couple of concerns I had about the car. He asked me to leave my car so they could figure out what could be going on. A couple of hours later, John called me and informed me of the repairs that needed to happen. Based on the high mileage (almost 200,000 miles) on the 11-yr old car, the other mechanic SHOULD HAVE replaced the strut mounts when they replaced the struts...but didn't. Thanks, former mechanic. You have been officially been fired. HUGE THANKS TO JOHN, STEVE, and their team at University Tire! John has been always been very helpful with explaining the repairs needed and ensuring his team completes the repairs at the date/time stated. While I have generally interacted with John, Steve has assisted me as well. Both gentlemen are professional and very informative - they help me with determining which repairs are urgent/safety issue versus a maintenance issue. Thank you University Tire!!!

Steve was super delightful to work with regarding my car that needed maintenance. He sent me pictures and costs of everything that needed repaired and was honest about the necessity of each repair. The staff was also very friendly whenever I called. My car is working just great and I plan on using University Tire and Auto from now on! I highly recommend them.

Great service here. Have been twice already and each time the estimate and ultimate prices are reasonable. The best part about this place is that they get you out in about 24 hrs or less. I had some major repairs on my shocks and they were done in about 16 hrs. They do try to upsell you but can't fault them for running a business.

Best service for your money hands down! They aren't in the business to make a quick buck off those who don't know much about cars! They take the time to explain what's going on and really listen to what you need/want. This place is safe for girls to take their car and not get tricked into spending money due to lack of knowledge! They are conveniently located too which is always a plus! Typically busy so a call ahead is suggested!

Walked in unanounced with no appointment, explaining that I had to drive to Vegas that day. They repaired my tire in an hour and was on my way. Polite, kind and professional, if I can do more business with these folks, I will!! Oh, and since they are close to USC, FIGHT ON UTSA!!
