Warning!! Customers BEWARE!! I went in for an oil change and the mechanic pointed out a number of things I needed to replace/fix. They gave me an estimate of around $2400 to fix everything which included the axels among other things and warned me that it was urgent. I was a bit skeptical and wanted to see if I could get the repairs done for less elsewhere.. so I called around to get estimates to fix the things they listed and the price quotes I got we’re about $7-800 less than what University Auto quoted. I also decided to get a second opinion (in person) from another (more honest) shop this time and they assured me that I didn’t need to fix the axels and that they could take a closer look at the other issues next time I come in for an oil change there. Nothing needed urgent attention in the end!! Anyways.. customers beware. They will try to rip you off for things you don’t need.
