This place is one of the more reliable and honest auto-repair places around. After having a leaky tire, I went to Toyota who told me that I needed a new tire, and a new wheel, running a total of $800 bucks. University tire patched it for $10, and that was all I needed. I'll definitely go back.

Great service & great prices! I was in and out and on my way to work in no time. They were super nice, and answered all my questions. Very pro, and much more on the level than say the bigger guys like pep boys(who I will not be going to anymore).

Following yelpers reviews I decided to visit for a routine tune up and oil change on my . Mr. Yu was courteous, efficient and all for a great price (less than 100). Would definitely recommend.

Mr. Yu is the nicest and best mechanic that i have ever been to and I have been driving for 14 years. He drops what he is doing to help me with simple problems when I come in. He just did one of the nicest and most helpful things: I lost my diamond and emerald $3K+ neclace in between the seats and I had searched for 2 hours for it. I called Infiniti and they wouldnt help me and so I drove all the way from the westside to see Mr. Yu and he got some special tools and immediately helped me find my neclace. After about 30 min. we found it and he would not allow me to pay him for the help. He is so nice and my car was so well-taken care of there. I never make time to write reviews for companies, but, I had to write a review for his company because I highly recommend that you bring your car UAC!

If you are in the USC University Park neighborhood, Mr. Yu will fix it for you. And usually for cheaper than you think.

The place is run by a Korean guy. He's the most honest auto mechanic I ever met. Every time I go, I ask him what he recommends for my car -- 1999 nissan altima. He usually doesn't say too much, or he says it's in good condition. When I was about to sell the Altima, I asked him if I needed to do any major maintenance to make it last another month or so -- I was scared of the engine-service light. He said, "Don't worry, you don't need anything if it's just for another month." If you're looking for a honest, routine maintenance place -- oil change, tire rotation, brakes, tune-up, etc -- this is the place.
