Superbowl Sunday morning, brakes give out. I'm stuck with either towing my SUV 54 miles back to mission Viejo or finding a mechanic to look at it at 12pm Sunday afternoon. AAA sends me to a shop that tells me over the phone that they don't intend to help me. So I need to find another shop. I check Yelp, first name that pops up is University Tire. I call, someone promptly picks up. They tell me to bring the car in without asking questions. Diante Hall at University Tire and the other service advisor (sorry I didn't get his name) were very helpful and professional. They were busy but they provided prompt service. Daniel was the service technician that worked on my truck. They did the work that needed to be done, nothing more. I was under the gun with two kids and my wife far from home, and a broken down car. I was desperate. I was anticipating having to pay for my desperation. University tire did the opposite. One of the best mechanic experiences, I've ever had. I am truly appreciative. I was home in orange county before kickoff.
