Called today for an oil change an hour before it closed, and they told me to come in and see what's happening. To keep it simple and sweet, they're a very comprehensive and helpful crew. John seamlessly helped me out with my car, no annoyance but only with the utmost concern for my car and experience. Matt was also helpful in assisting us while John was dealing with my car. Nice to know the people here are more than willing to make your day a better day.

Great place at a great location. I came across a nail in my tire and I immediately needed a tire replacement. Thankfully this auto shop was there, open on Sundays until 4PM. I came in at 3:00PM, worried that I wouldn't be able to replace my tires. Thankfully, they worked with me very quickly, got a good quote on tire prices as well as labor. 2 tire replacements costed me approx $230 with all fees included in a matter of ~30 minutes. Extremely satisfied with everything. Would definitely recommend it to anyone on Sundays.

I like going here. They are polite, professional and deliver a premium service. Last time I was in, they patched up a tire in no-time. Recommended!

I had the BEST experience ever dealing with University Tire and Auto. Not only did Dena the Manager take care of me with such professionalism she eased my pain about any inconvenience by giving me a rental care. My stress was eliminated immediately since they had to keep my car for a couple of days, HUGE! Once getting my quote then Diante the Sr. Mechanic stepped in to help me understand my repairs and costs which was great. Not only explained but took his time to really show me concern, that really mattered to me. Being a woman in a repair shop is always scary but I have to say they didn't take advantage of me and I left feeling confident that I was truly cared for. In fact, I am making them my permanent mechanics as long as Dena and Diante are there! You cant go wrong....:)

I like this shop for their convenience to USC. They have a good selection of tires, and their prices are competitive. I will use this tire shop for anything tires and maybe oil changes if you have the time and $$ as oil changes can be pricey even for basic options. Anything beyond tires and oil you should go somewhere else, it can also be tricky to get out of here they are usually quite busy, and they do not have the space to accommodate complicated auto repair. To their credit, most places are super expensive to get oil changes nowadays, and this site can be convenient if you live in the area or running errands nearby.

I've been coming here for years for oil changes, tires and etc. I've always had a good experience. John the owner has always been a pleasure to deal with as well as the new people he has hired on. As someone who doesn't know much about cars, I've never felt taken advantage of.

Professional, knowledgable, and highly recommended! I came in for a blown tire, and they patched me up very quickly. The service was top-notch, and they truly care about the customer. I'd recommend this to anyone who needs service work. They also give really interesting car inspections, take photos of your car, and give you recommendations for your service. Many tire shops don't care about the customer, cut corners, or don't treat your car like a premium vehicle. University is the best auto shop I've been to in L.A.
