Doing business with University Tire and Auto has been the best experience. John and his team are fair and honest with their estimates and advice. For a dad that lives across the country and having a daughter at USC these guys made life easy when it came to car repair.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I needed my car inspected. I'm registered out of state in North Caroline and they have a weird safety inspection requirement that most places here don’t offer. Multiple people working helped me find information on what exactly needed to be done to pass, including printing off info for me they found online. We figured out what needed to be done and they took care of the inspection ( :

I was in town for a meeting and my car broke down. It had been showing the battery light for a while. They where able to diagnose my car and replace my alternator in about and hour. These guys are AWESOME!!!

Student discounts should be a thing! My wheel popped on me so unexpectedly I had to drive to the mechanic but I was so grateful for my boyfriend finding this place when in need. I can’t remember the from guys name but he reassured me the time, stuff being done to the car, and the actual cost. Thanks guys!

Nice people and fast work

Customer Service was great. I only came in for an oil change. A courtesy inspection was completed free of cost. Of course several things were found. Which was the tires needed to be replaced. The transmission oil change. And wind shield wipers needed to be replaced. I purchased the wipers while waiting for the car, which they changed free of cost. I also had them complete the transmission change. Which cost $284. I feel I was overcharged. I researched prices and the most I seen was about $250. I also was told $175 from pepboys. When I was informed of the price from your location it was said that it was being completed on a machine and not the old way. Meaning the pan would not be dropped and the oil changed. Something like that. You should know I researched the prices after. If I knew what I knew now. I would have not got it done there. So for the tires. They said $622 for 4 brand new tires at $110 each. $20 each to put them on. $10 each tire for a warranty. Which was to replace the tire if it needed it and to fix them if something happened. Not including the labor. Then I said okay being that my tires was over 5 years old and I was told it was a safety hazard I decided to get them done. Then I was told they will check the wheel alignment. They did and I need the one in the back fixed. That would have been another $89 dollars. So u declined. Also not a big deal. I think they should have put the tire on for free and fixed the alignment for free. They were supposed to contact me when it was finished. They didn't do it right away. I know this because I was waiting outside and seen that they were done. I waited like 20 mins and went inside to find that they were already done. But didn't call yet. I think they should have called when it was finished.
